STORY HIGHLIGHTS
Problem:
When a leading manufacturer of boom trucks replaced its hydraulic lift system with electric actuators in order to re-engineer their product platform, there were no actuators on the market capable of meeting this need.
Solution:
Working with the customer’s engineering team, PEM developed a custom, lightweight two-actuator system that handles the critical requirements of the boom.
