Hydraulic Valve Stroker
PEM manufactures a variety of actuators used to precisely control hydraulic valves.
These systems cover a number of applications customized to customer’s specific needs. PEM has designed and manufactured the following for its customers:
- Rotary actuators sold separately that can be mounted to your own hydraulic valve
- A complete motorized control valve system (combined actuator and valve) designed to your specific application
- A linear actuator that can be mounted directly on to your spool valve
The advantages of the PEM actuators are as follows:
- Built in position sensing for accurate position control
- Eliminates pilot hydraulic systems - directly controls the valve
- Reduced power usage - powered only when moving - does not need power to hold position
- CAN bus or other electrical control interface for simple fly-by-wire control.
PEM will economically design a custom actuator specific to your application. Actuator speeds range from 1 second to 1 minute depending on your requirements. Fail safe clutches are available for manual operation if desired. Control options range from On/Off, 0-10V to CAN bus or Ethernet IP. Custom limit switches and long-life position sensing for life cycles of over 1M cycles. PEM can even embed radio frequency capabilities inside your actuator to allow for remote radio control of the valve. Quality, inexpensive, high precision - designed specifically for your application.
